My management training was nearly nonexistent, making it incredibly stressful when things would go wrong that I was never taught how to handle.
This all changes when you move up to management though. It’s usually pretty slow and there’s a lot of down time which can be painfully boring, but having people to talk to makes it bearable. The best part about the job is getting to know your co-workers, since most people who work there are very friendly and welcoming. Epic Theatres is a pretty good first job since the hours are flexible, especially as general staff, and it’s pretty easy to pick up more shifts if you’d like or get yours covered.
